Mixed feelings. I like the flip front-end, but not the chop top w/o shaving the drip rail. But... to each his/her own.

I kinda like that phantom bumper roll pan thing. Do you have any pics with the front end down? Was that a glass or steel front clip? Thanks for sharing....Stroker

I agree I love the flip front clip, very sweet. I don't like the Chop top, only looks really good on the 50's style IMO.

I saw a black chopped short step one in surrey today, looked good to me. It had a malibu wagon rear bumper. No seaweed flames though. As for the wheels on the afformentioned cruiser, I've always loved the slots. maybe a 14 yr old can't appreciate them(yet), but a 24yr old sure can.

I like the flip and the paint but the flames don't do much for me(just don't like the style).I think the top is a bit too much chop for me but then it's not my truck.Looks like the builder did a lot of nice work.

I like it... I prolly wouln't have hacked the top, but to each his own. I'm thinking about making the front clip tilt on the 49. Wondering how well it would work to use a power tilt system from a boat.
