Smile Custom radiator cover upper support

Hey I just wanted to get some opinions on the custom radiator cover I made for my project "Shop Truck".
I didn't like the look of the stock upper mounts since I was using an electric fan and didn't need the upper fan shroud mounts. The plan is to paint it to match the truck and use a thin sheet of brushed stainless underneath as a backdrop for the holes to provide contrast. The stock upper rubber pads were used between the new support and the radiator tanks.
I'm thinking about making some more of these to sale, but wanted see what you guys think of it first. This is just a prototype, but the productions units would be CNC laser cut and press brake formed for consistency. The corners are TIG welded and ground smooth.
Feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Custom radiator cover upper support

I'll try to have pricing and time frame on the radiator covers by Monday.

Would anyone be interested in a narrowed version that would work with the stock upper radiator mounts? This would let you keep the stock fan shroud mounting.

Re: Custom radiator cover upper support

Definitely interested in a version that would let you keep the stock fan shroud. Also, could you make an option that doesn't have the holes punched in? I'm thinking that with a good polish, that could look really nice.

Thanks

I think that would look killer with ball milled lines on it too!

We'll be in touch also!

That is very clean and it looks like it is a good design. I had aluminum brackets made for my project.

Re: Custom radiator cover upper support

OK so I am not going to lie. I am quiet jealous of your radiator cover. What dimensions do you need in order to make me something custom for mine! I have a 67 and that area is kinda rought looking! Would like to do something like that and clean it up! Let me know, what kinda dimensions and what all you would need to custom make something.

Dodge Dakota Intense Blue Pearl

Rad support to grill should be fairly simple. Maybe I'll work on those next.

Would the radiator cover in the picture not work for you? It's on a 67. I'm not sure what you are wanting. You could send me some pictures.
