Need a 24x10bs help

I hate wheel bs math! I want a 24x10 back and the two wheel bs are 5.91 and 7.1. I have exactly 12in before I hit the bed when laying and the lower bars, that's touching measurements. That's 4 front amd 8 back measuring from the wheel mounting surface. Now Im thinking the 7.1 but that's still close and it's an all bs wheel and may look funny but if it fits I don't care. My tire will be 275/30/24 if that helps.

The 7.1 will be better. The 5.9 would be cutting it too close on the front side

Not sure myself on the backspacing, you will need to tub the rear arches and also cut inner wheel arch lip, ? how much are those wheels, i priced myself a set of bad sand ovals 20 x 12 were $1400 each,

These are $300 a wheel. I may try the 7.1bs but that's like a fwd offset. The fronts I bought are 22x9.5 with 6.78bs and the wheels mounted on back give me an inch gap inside and back of the wheel.

Please read that again, I have a 20x(10) wheel with 12in of room and a 10in measures a true 11in wide on the outside so I have 1in to play with. That's a $300 10in wide wheel that if these two bs won't fit I'm screwed.

A 10" wheel w/5.91 back spacing is about the equivalent of installing a typical 15x8" truck ralley that has 4" BS (add 2" more to the inside of that typical 15x8" wheel & it's now a 10" wheel w/6" of back-spacing).

Do the math.....
6.00" BS - 5.91" BS = .09 difference.
.090" is the equivalent of a .045" spark plug gap doubled (between 1/16 & 1/8 of an inch)

One of these truck wheels w/a similar height tire should be easy to find & mount up. Tape a paint stir stick to the outside edge of the tire, air the truck out & you'll have your answer for the outside edge. Add some wood approx 2" wide to the back side of the same set-up & you'll know on the inside. I always spin the combo 360° as well to ensure there's no interference.

Anything else is just an educated guess....

I think what I ran for 13 years is a split offset on a 8in wheel. I'll check it and if it is then the 5.91 should fit.

I agree with dv8customs.
The 7.1 should be better with what you said about the 22's mounted on the back.

Here's the breakdown:
The 24's are 1/2" wider.
But the have .320" more backspace.
That means they will be .180" closer to the bedside.

All this means,... approximately 5/16" more backspace,
and 3/16" closer to the bedside.

Here's the question. Where are you measuring?

Does the rearend shift to the passenger side when you lay it out?

So, the 7.1 is so close to 22 that that's what I'd need. The 5.91 is another 1.2in room to fender lost. I'll get the 7.1 then.

Man,... you gotta do like Scoti said.
Measure.
I'm just going by what you posted.
When layed out, the measurements on both sides will be different unless you're running a Watts link. (designed to keep the rearend centered through out the entire range of motion)

You need to air up to ride height measure both sides and then dump it and measure both sides again. Your passenger wheel will be closer to the bedside that the drivers side wheel will be. (when dumped)

I did measure and I can't do the 5.91 so but the 7.1 is close to wait wheel I already tried. Also I have a 4-link so rearend don't move.
