Some Rat Rod paint
All rattle cans , took about 8 for the front end/engine compartment, 2-3 for the cab and roughly 3-4 for the backend. Then a single can for the red. Shaved doors are finished, just need to clean up the interior a bit and bumpers and brackets.

Re: Some Rat Rod paint
I think eventually I'll go with a gloss black paint job, but with the budgy how it is now probably won't be anytime soon. It was just the OSH store paint, like 2 bucks a can. Pretty nice if you get a little scratch or ding, just have some a little sand paper and a can in the back and you're good to go in like 5 minutes.

Re: Some Rat Rod paint
All of your trucks look good! What paint did you use? Is it primer or flat or matte?
The red chevy across the tailgate looks nice. Zman I like your grill and the stance of your truck. What paint did you use? |

Re: Some Rat Rod paint
Zman: I think your truck would look awesome in Olive Drab! Kinda give it that old school bomber look. Plus, no offense to anyone at all, it would not be flat black. Sorry, but as a painter and a "car guy", I am just WAY past done with the flat black fad.
chefmasterj: Good looking truck. Looks like you have a nice project going.
