Bearing Price

So I got an Eaton Rear end of sorts, has a bad pinion bearing.
I got one on order but ouch...246 dollars. It's a huge
som-B, double roller bout 5 inches tall and a couple wide.
Anyone know the one, are they pricey south of the 49th.

Brian showed me around my Differential and all the good
stuff I didn't know. Like the little oil grooves in the big
crown gear that are still there. Say's it should work fine
when he's done. He went and painted the case, doh. Now
I'll have to do the rest. All bearings and races looked real
sweet to me, but more important to him. It's got 456 gears.
That should net me some good speed and MPG eh!!

You Merican's whopped are Kanuk A$$es last night. Your
goalie was on fire eh!! Good game tho, bad outcome
if your me

Don,

Holy cow that's expensive! Available at my local NAPA parts store as shown below. I probably need one too, since there was one in the glovebox when I got the truck.

Re: Bearing Price

I'm afraind that that's the other pinion bearing......the smaller cheaper one. Here is the one that driftbuster is needing and it's more $$ at NAPA here in the states.

I had to buy one of these bearings 20+ years ago. Regular price was around $120 then but I was able to get it for about $90 with my good buddy discount.

Re: Bearing Price

that's thru CBS my price (Canadian Bearing Supply). I get all
my bearings, seals circlips there. Buddy said he had only 2 sources for it.
One in USA was 250 USD's plus shipping. One in Kanukastan
is cheaper but the place only ships to Brantford twice a month
free and I just missed the last order of course

thanks
