4wd conversion with a suburban
Ok so I found a 1976 suburban 3/4ton with a 400 for cheap cause the body is in real bad shape. The thing runs fine it just needs a tune up. I believe that the wheel base is only about 2 or 2.5 inches off. Clearance issues, transmission hump, ex….

Re: 4wd conversion with a suburban
i would think that people would have tried it, cause you can get an old burb for cheap, the frames dont kick up under the cab like a 73-87 pick up, and the wheel base is close or the same, but i dont know there might be something im not thinking of. before i buy this burb id like to hear from someone who has done it.
