Re: Any one running a fuel cooler?

i am actually running one, its just a trans cooler though, using it for fuel, during the summer i'd be cruising and all of a sudden my truck would die, well the heat would cause a vapor lock in between the fuel pressure regulator and carb (i have no clue why) so i had to have a flat head in the glove comp to get out and bleed the fuel system, well i threw this on there to see if it helped and i never had the problem again!

Re: Any one running a fuel cooler?

I thought of one. Instead I bent the fuel line away from any heat source. I can easily fit one.

Re: Any one running a fuel cooler?

The "can" design was intended to be filled with ice. I used one on my 69 Chevelle for drag raceing. For street use just use the finned little radiators designed for this purpose.

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

will do! i just cant figure out how to make a spiral of tube /w/ 2 long sides to protrude out of the can like jegs brand does.... (wont fit in can)... i need to do some more sketching.

here in the valley 120F summers are sure hot... especially /w/ a 350F block 2 inches from the fuel lines.
