Gas tank from 72 in a 63
I was wondering if anyone knows if a cab tank from a 72 c10 will fit in a 63 cab? I did a search but didn't get any info. I know the sending units are different ohm ratings but am not sure on dimensions. Thx

We did that years ago and they do not fit. We had to cut a slot in the passenger side interior panel to get it to slip in. We did not care back then however. Otherwise they will work

I'm going mild custom with my truck so a little modification will be ok. A free new tank is better than the rusted out one i have now. Thanks for the info.

Did you ever find a 60-66 tank?
I have one.
