Tranny swap!

I have a 65 swb with a 350 and th350 tranny will the same driveshaft work on a 700r-4.Or what do you guys recommend for a tranny?

There are three different lengths of TH350 transmissions. The tailhousings measure 6,9, and 12 inches in length. You'll need to measure yours to see what length you have. Measure from the seam where it's bolted to the trans, back to the rear of the trans where the driveshaft comes out.

If it's 9 inches, your existing driveshaft is a direct swap with a 700R4 trans. If it's either 6 or 12 inches you will need to lengthen or shorten accordingly.
