Ahhh Spring is early

Great day for a cruise
Today we (Genuine Chevy GMC truck club of KC ) went on a little cruise, actually we started at 10am in Independence, MO and finished up around 4pm in Weston, MO. Took in some great scenery thats for sure.

Anyone in the KC area that would like to join in, feel free to send me or anyone at the club an email. We'd love to have more folks involved.
We had 8 trucks to turn some heads today, what a blast. It was a spur of the moment cruise, hense the reason for only 8... but it was still a great day.

Sweet - I would enjoy driving around with a bunch of truck guys - that would be a blast. Hmmm, Wichita to KC isn't too far . . . so what if I would wear off half of my tires

We have it on the schedule to be in Wichita on the 7th and 8th for the swap meet. I'm not sure if they have space's reserved for the club or if everyone is just driving down to check it out...
I'll hopefully be painting the interior of my 72 this weekend so I wont make it.

Spring here too. At least the groundhog isn't seeing his shadow. A shot of lovely NH. I shouldn't complain though most of Jan was clear and sunning albiet -31 to 0 degress the whole time. Pictured are a 72 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4 with plow, 72 Chevy 3/4 ton burb 4x4 and a 71 swb 2wd stepside.

cab

Did you get your cab back from the body shop. He was sandblasting it for you right? Did you get that stroker assembled for it as well?

Yep, its just about ready to be sandblasted. I've got to finish the 72 first to make room for the other stuff though. Hopefully I'll be running the 71 later this year.
I just picked up the heads for the 383 but it will be a while before there's anything to put the engine/trans in. LOL

I'll be cutting the frame down to a SWB and bolting a StepSide bed on it . Should be a fun ride!
