I started searching the threads because it was mentioned recently but to no luck. What's the tire sizes that fit a 15" rim, 10" wide? I got some Procomp alloys awhile back in trade for engine parts. 3.75" back spacing. Seems like there were two sizes you guys liked.

if memory serves, 275 width tires are right at 10 inches, the height would be up to you.

One of the ways I resource tire sizes and specs is the website www.TireRack.com. You can go on the site, click on "Tires By Size" and pick a size you think will work. Then once in the page for a specific tire click "Specs" and it gives you all of the dimensions for that tire size.

Certain brands will differ .1 to .3 in size but you will be able to get an idea. Its helped me a lot when shopping for tires for my trucks.

And my truck right now is running Cragars with 235/70R15 tires, and it looks okay,not great. I am switching wheels and tires soon.

10" is closer to 255. 235 is an optimum width for performance of the tire on a 10" rim. A thread width of less than the wheel width reduces sidewall flex, making the tire more responsive. There is a point of diminishing return, anything more than 25 to 50 mm less than wheel width is too much (especially on narrow rims) 1" = 25.4 mm

Are 16x10 rims to big? 10" seems awful wide..

For a 15x10" you really only have two choices in a 50 or 60 series tire that will fit a 10" wheel. you can use a 275/60-15 or a 295/50-15. I'm pretty sure that in a drag radial you can get a 295/60-15, but for a daily driver that's kinda expensive and rough going if you hit any rain.

For comparison I believe the stock tire size on a 15x8" truck rally wheel was either a 235/70-15 which is 28" diameter or a 235/70-15 which is 29" diameter. Both are a miserable size for performance.

For comparison: BFG makes these sizes...
275/60-15 is 28" diameter
295/50-15 is 26.6" diameter

Not wanting to step on any toes, but a 235 tire will not fit on a 10" wide wheel. There is little correlation between tread width and bead/ mounting size. A 275 on a 10" wheel is stretched to the max. Fitment for a 10" wheel would range from a 275, 295, 305, 315 however not all of these sizes are available in various profiles, your choices are limited...
