1968 Radiator support patch panel
Well I never could find any reason why the 69-72 patch panel that Brothers sell wouldn't work on my 68 so I took a gamble and bought one and yesterday got around to installing it. I had to make a few cuts where I could get the new patch in. The inner most inner fender nut is attached the upright on the support.
More pics coming

Re: 1968 Radiator support patch panel
I then trimmed the support and the patch to fit. The patch is a little narrower but I just used all of the nut centers as reference points when I started going back together. Then I took a piece of 1 1/2" tubing to make sure everything was still straight and started welding.

Re: 1968 Radiator support patch panel
Man, I just cut mine to repair the rust. I didn't know they made a patch panel for it. I'm going to go to sheet metal shop and have them bend my metal this morning. Your repair looks great. I didn't have any bolt holes to line up with though. Little bit more advanced cancer.

Re: 1968 Radiator support patch panel
I had the inner bolt hole left and the spot for the outer. I just used the left side holes.
