Bent frame.
I was doing a little clean up to prepare the frame for paint when i believe i noticed that it was bent. its only infront of the k-member. where the front core? support connects i think. I would like to know if this is really a problem or even noticable when everything is complete. or if i should try to get it fixed or find a new frame. you cant really tell in the pictures but i'll load them anyways. just in case. any help in a direction to go is greatly appreciated.

Re: Bent frame.
That's not bad. As long it is not warped past the crossmember, which it looks like it is not, you should be fine by straightening it. Did everything fit fine before? If you can put the core support on and see if it will bolt up fine and you should be good.
just my pennies worth. |

Re: Bent frame.
Looks like it's right at where the idler ar bolts up. That part needs to br in he right place for correct steering geometry. I would think it can be corrected. If you got another frame who knows if it would be correct.
