Fuel cell
Someone gave me a fuel cell, so I want to remove my 2 tanks and install it on my 84. I have the cell, straps sending unit. What else do I need? Can I use the stock fuel pump or do I need to add one inline? I have the stock 305 right now.
I have seen the write ups on how to install the acutal cell, just not sure how to run the lines on my bagged truck and hook up. Should I run normal rubber fuel lines? How do I connect from the fitting to rubber fuel lines? Might be a dumb question, but have not done this myself. |

Re: Fuel cell
I have rubber lines on mine, they just fit on just like any other lines. I'm not sure about the fuel pump, mine already had a electric inline when I got the truck.

Re: Fuel cell
Yes, I do have to smog it. I figured the breather line would run to the charcoal canister. Guess I will have to tear into it to see what all I need to do.
