NOS Taillight Lens Parts Numbers? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I picked up a stack of NOS fleetside taillight lenses. No boxes or packaging. But they are all stamped "GUIDE 1T SAE STIA 67" on the side. The lower middle says Guidex in script. And they have smaller numbers in the bottom edges that vary. 59591118, 59591117, 59591115, and 59591114. Any idea what the differences are between those numbers. The lenses all look the same.

Oh, another thing I noticed is that they all have a small hairline star crack in the upper corner face on one or the other side. Is or was this a common flaw in the lenses?

The actual GM service part number is 5959111. Left & right are the same. I dont know why they have an added digit on the lens, or what it means.
