Fuel filter mistake
Just thought I'd throw this out in case others might have made the same mistake.
My pickup was running poorly for a number of reasons, but I fixed nearly everything. I've been living with a miss under heavy load, but I learned to just not push it and it would run OK. Well, today I glanced at the fuel filter that I had recently installed, and saw that I had put it in backwards. I put in a new one - the right way - and the ol' beast runs like a million bucks! Hope this helps someone out there with similar problems. Chris

Thanks for sharing that, I had a similiar problem, mine was in the right way, but I neglected to change it often enough, I learned the hard way
