Gas Tank Relocation.

Going to the junk yard on Sat what is the best gas tank to use for relocating my tank on a 65 to under the bed?

That would depend on how much fuel capacity you need and what your budget is. Some of the better fitting tanks won't likely be found in a junk yard. A popular tank to use is the '69-'72 Blazer tank. The '73-'91 Blazer tanks can fit but are a little larger. A coulpe of guys have used full size van tanks, and member Lakeroaster used a late 40's early 50's Chevy car tank. Try a search and you might find some more

70,s and 80,s suburbans are 37 gallons, and blazers are 26.....Im going off memory, but close to
