Looking for HD rear drum brake p/n's

Anyone have a source for the part numbers breakdown on rear 1/2 ton HD brakes (73-80 Suburban)? They would be the JB6 (?) 11.15 x2.75".

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

All I have is a generic illustration but I can get you part #s if you can tell me what all you need.

Re: Looking for HD rear drum brake p/n's

Here is what I found for a 1977 Chevrolet Suburban, 11.15 x 2.75 brakes...

Drum Brake Hardware:
Raybestos H7046
Dorman HW7046

Adjustiong Screw Assembly
Raybestos H1544 left
Dorman HW1544 left
Raybestos H1545 right
Dorman HW1545 right

Drum
Raybestos 2083R or 2083

Wheel Cylinder
Raybestos WC37048

Brake Shoes
Wagner PAB450R
Raybestos 450PG

Spring Hold Down Top Cup (part of the hardware kit)
Raybestos H1133K

Spring Hold Down Bottom Cup (part of the hardware kit)
Raybestos H1129

I do not believe that this is ALL the parts in the drawing BACKYARD88 posted. I think that it is only the replacement/rebuild parts. Items 7, 12, 14, 15 and 39 (form the drawing), I cannot find part numbers for them...I did not look real hard...

Re: Looking for HD rear drum brake p/n's

I surfed for hours last night looking for a breakdown like that.... I'm looking for a GM (or alternate) p/n's for part 29 & 4 (for the bore size) in that index.

Best I can tell the wheel cylinder has a 15/16" bore.

LH plate GM# 14068965
RH plate GM# 14068966
I couldn't find alternate part numbers, and I couldn't find the GM anywhere.

Figures.... Nothing is easy to find these days. Thanks for the p/n's. If I might inquire, where did you source them from?

Re: Looking for HD rear drum brake p/n's

I'm a parts guy at a GM dealer. My catalog(computer) goes back to 73 and I have a paper catalog for 47-72. If there's anything I can ever help you find just let me know and I'll give it my best shot.

I used to have a guy here in Dallas that helped research my old stuff for me. He was @ Young Chevrolet in Dallas back in the late 80's & early 90's then moved to the Rockwall dealership (Lakeside Chevrolet). I got stuff from him a couple of times after he moved to Rockwall but have since lost touch w/him.

I'm stashing your contact info .
