Exclamation 67chevy250l6shutter

i recently purchased a 67 chevy c-10 pick-up it has the 250 4.1lt l6 everything seems to be original (not restored) just original equipment i noticed after a couple days it would idle extremely high tinkered with it and figured out it was timing i fixed that but now it seems to wanna shutter on take off could it be just a bad clutch and flywheel or something worse any thoughts would be greatly appreciated..and yes i am a newbie so i apologize if this question is obvious or i left something out.

broken motor mount maybe or trans mounts on the bellhousing, worn clutch, could be something else

could be a misfire too, when an engine gets put under a load (taking off) it is more likely to misfire.
The motor mounts and clutch chatter are other good ideas, but i would start with new plugs wires cap/rotor and new points.

Adding to Andy's suggestion check the vac advance actuator in the distributor.I had a bad one with the same symptoms.

how do i check vac advance..and the distributor is the one thing they did change..to a hei dizzy also from another post i read i noticed they didn't change the resistor wire to a normal 12v wire and the plugs and wires and fuel pump/fuel filter are first things i changed.

I would look at the flywheel& clutch for the shutter you speak of maybe a hotspot on the flywheel just my .02 good luck, Pat
