Reproduction window regulators

How good are they? or how bad compared to the original GM regulators? I'm looking for a window regulator for my uncles 72 C20, drivers side. Who makes the best repro?

Re: Reproduction window regulators

I have repro's in my truck. Got them from Classic Parts. They work pretty good, way better then what I had.

Re: Reproduction window regulators

I just installed a set from Brothers and WOW what a difference, the window almost rolls down to easy. I am almost sure all the repo's are built the same, but I can recommend the ones I got from Brothers.

Re: Reproduction window regulators

I have bought some that only lasted 3 months then broke. And the replacement ones I bought have lasted and work great. Same with the exterior door handles, had some bad repo's on them too. Stick with a proven board vendor they know how important quality is and would stand by the products they sell.

Re: Reproduction window regulators

Any how tos on installing these?

mine catches once every revolution on the way up, like something has a flat spot or a crack in it as it rolls in the track. Is there an easier fix?
