There's a 71 on eBay right now that lists itself as having a "very rare" factory vacuum gauge. But there's no picture. Please humor me, as I've never even seen a full gauge pack in person, but does anyone have a picture of the vacuum gauge option?

Sorry, no factory vacuum guage was available in the 10-30 series. But several people have added them, from the 40-70 series trucks.

the factory vacuum gauge was offered on the larger trucks just like the air pressure gauge. It was never offered on the small 1/2, 3/4 or 1ton pickup trucks

Ah, thanks! So its so rare that its incorrect :-) Are they repopped (I searched LMC and came up with nothing) or would you have to get one out of a farmer's grain truck if you wanted to add one to a light duty truck?

I don't know what people did before the Internet... you can't learn this stuff in the Chevrolet Pickup Red book! You guys are great.

They are re-popped. Several vendors carry them.

They can work in the lower gvw trucks and it fills the space with a factory gauge, just not a model correct factory gauge. Many use them and they are sought after enough that they did start repopping them.
Its like putting the 80lbs oil pressure gauge in, many people prefer that range compared the the lower gvw typical 60lbs gauge. Looks the same from the front when installed anyway, but a least your needle isnt typically pinned and your more aware if a failure is looming and not thinking your gauge needle is stuck.
