Impulse buying without the wife ...

Well here are pictures of what I bought ... The wife wasn't to Happy after they came home while she was out of town .. The dogs didn't mind sharing their bed .. (1) 1966 Chevy 3/4 ton .runs and drives , 350 v/8 , 4spd , cab forward good ..rear dog trails .. (hit) .. Looks better with my other front wheels and caps ..didn't take pictures of before and after .. (2) 1966 3/4 parts truck , front frame bent bad , truck totaled ... good parts , auto column , new radiator with tag , was a v/8 , turbo 400 auto truck .. (3) 1965 1/2 ton v/8 truck .. roller , bad cab , no fenders , I owned this one before .. sold it to this guy .. almost a year later I get it and the others from the same guy that bought it from me .. His job relocate to another state , divorce .. the whole life direction change of life .. "Good Luck " .. Now what to do or where to start .. My wifes thoughts were why do we need these again ??? My answer : it was $1000.00 for all ..

Too bad logic and a good deal don't hold much worth in a wife argument! Looks like a real bargain however. What are your plans - use most of this on your existing truck, build a second one, or ??

Nice, four trucks in the driveway! My hero... So you could drag them down to my place and hide them..? especially the 62... Ima sucker for the seafoamy green... thing I'll buy all of them I can find... My wifes threashold was 10 one the property before she started making faces... Lucky... Yes she's great! Good luck... so whats the plan... melding them all into one..? or something (resto rebuild..) with each... Keep it up HERO

Re: Impulse buying without the wife ...

Thanks for the support Guys !!!!
Since the orange one is the only one with a good frame and a nice box ..1/2 ton also .. My thoughts were to combine the white and orange ones , take what I need off the brown for extras .. The 62.. I need to put another drivers fender on the L/F and have it spotted , L/F fender damaged from someone else that wasn't looking while on their cell phone .. Otherwise should be hitting some local cruises ...

I don't know if it will help you get out of the dog house but I'll do my part, tell the wife that I'll take the steering column off of your hands.
