'58 Chevy Suburban Napco

My friend's '58 was stolen and I would like to help him find it, so if you have any information, we would really appreciate your help. Here is a link to the stolen '58 Napco:

Wow, that's a shame. The good thing is, it will be easy to spot.

The theives probably did not know how unique it was and after trying to sell parts found out it will be hard to just part it out like a "regular" TF. Anyway I'll keep my eyes out for any parts floating around up this way.

I don't know anything about the '55-'59 Chevy/GMC trucks, but I would really like to help my friend find it. We are doing a complete frame-off on his '66 Chevy K20, but I don't know about the earlier years or how rare they are. Thanks for everyone's help.

Man...this stolen ruck thing is getting bad! I`d love nothing better than to catch some S.O.B.in the act or even get info on their location. They`d gladly call the cops when I handed them the phone after their asswhipping!!

Sadly a sign of the times. When the economy gets bad crime increases. The guys who bagged it probably know exactly what it was worth, they may have even worked on it while employed at some restoration shop it was at.

Re: '58 Chevy Suburban Napco

^ I totally agree. It`s the better trucks I`m seeing stolen.My`71 C/30 Napco was stolen back in`92.I know that was an inside job.I had sold the Reading utility bed off it.I had it at a shop that does used commercial truck bodies/upfits.I had a factory SRW flatbed he was going to install with a hoist. It kinda disappeared and one of his guys was a New Breed truck nut, too(and a criminal type).I heard he had a truck that fit mine`s description in his garage. The cops wouldn`t do anything w/o more proof.I was waiting for him to pull it out,my friend lived next door and was the one who described it.He was supposed to get a serial number but the guy wouldn`t let him get close to it.Then,he snuck it out to who knows where.I still have the title...Yay!
