Gauge cluster housing

Anyone know of a place that the greenish plastic housing is avaiable. I have a 79 with the factory tach. I have searched the yards here and have not found anything.

Re: Gauge cluster housing

You can use a non-tach housing, just need to cut a small hole for the back of the tach to fit. Swap circuit board over and gauges, install in truck, drive around with a factory tach. Bang zoom, get er done....

Re: Gauge cluster housing

You will need the small gauge, but if you got a steady hand, you can take the rivets out, and screw on a small face off a temp gauge or something, then get overlays and put the small fuel gauge to cover the temp or whatever one you use. The motors are the same between the large and small fuel gauge.
