Re: How Many Bolts to Remove Front Clip?

Here's how I do it - Remove the following: wiper arms, cowl vent, front wheels, inner wheel liners, bumper, radiator, & battery. Then I remove the radiator support bolts (the 2 big ones that go to the frame) & unplug the wiring harness at the firewall (1 bolt in the center needs to be removed then it unplugs). Make sure all other small stuff is unhooked ( alt. wiring, wiper fluid line, etc.) then remove the 6 bolts that hold the fenders to the cab ( 4 at the top & 2 at the bottom). I leave 2 of the uppers in (1 on each side)until I have some help - 1 person to gun out those last 2 bolts (wife works good for that job) & another guy to grab the other fender. We (the 2 guys) then can just pick up the whole doghouse (hood & all) & lift it off the truck. This usually can be done in about an hour using the air gun. Hope this helps!
