Question question about factory buckets

hey guys, i may have a line on some factory buckets

but...... the slider lever on one of them is missing and the seat doesnt lock into place. and its missing the springs.

now, is there anyone out there that can tell me if the slider part of the seat is the same as burb or blazer high back buckets?? and i wonder if i can just unbolt the slider part from the seat itself and get another set from pick n pull off a burb bucket??

any idea here?? thanks ALOT!!!

Re: question about factory buckets

The passenger side does not slide, there are four brackets that bolt it right to the floor. The driver side tracks are different from Burbs and Blazers.

Re: question about factory buckets

Yes, truck and Blazer highbacks through about '85. Burbs are different from the Blazers.

Just to clarify, the sliders are not separate from the mounts.

Re: question about factory buckets

Blazer brackets are completely different that pickups or burbs. The floor in a Blazer is completely flat (at least where the seat mounts to). Your bench seat slider bracket may work, but you would have to compare them to see for sure.

Those are never going to work on your truck , they are upside down . J/k

Re: question about factory buckets

So I'm confused, I thought you were asking if you could use other seats on the sliders you found.

Re: question about factory buckets

i'd say your best bet is to pull a pair of brackets off some highback buckets at a pick n pull and get the floor mount tab while your there also and everything from what i understand will bolt together.
