M-1008 k/30 army truck questions...

or would it be a k/3500... not sure when they changed the names... either way...
I'm sure we have a resident expert on them, or some guys who remember working on them in there army days... they were all but gonee by the time I got to wrench on gov stuff.
A guy at work was asking me since his sone just bought one, was asking about the daul electrical system. I was going off limited knowledge, but I told him that most of the truck is 12 volt. The starter, the injector pump, glow plug controller and radio hook ups were all 24 volt, as was the jump start plug in the grill.
Was this pretty acurate, or do i need to call him and tell him otherwise?

I could be wrong but I thought they were 24 volt all together.

outstanding... that link tells me everything I need to know!
On a side note, does steelsoldiers still come around here? I remember he had a caddy motor in a 4x4 square body, but this was years ago when I was still thinking about doing mine up.

Injector pump is NOT 24 volt, only thing 24 volt is the starter, port jump in grill, glow plug system, everything else is 12 volt.
