Ambulance Pic

I work at a picture frame shop and get to see some interesting stuff from time to time. A guy brought his photo in the other day of his dad. I thought you guys would enjoy the pic.

I didn't look to see who posted this and was thinking..."Hey, Matt works at a frame shop - what's the odd's of two board members..."

I saw another couple of cool pic of our trucks I had never seen before the other day (probably just in the dark): [Ron Kimball Photos]

Did you check it for shoulder belts?

Re: Ambulance Pic

Well I had to ask as they were common to have the illusive shoulder belts. Darn the luck...

Hey, wouldn't it be something if that 2nd pic was the same rig as the 1st pic after it had been retired and taken out of service?

Re: Ambulance Pic

There was an ambulance on ebay several months ago that was very similar to the top picture(although by the top lights, not the same)...I saved some pictures of it for reference to my ambulance. I am waiting for original pictures of my ambulance from the city of Beresford, SD. The local fire and rescue still has a picture of it given to the city by the then governor of the state.

I ONLY WISH MINE WAS AS NICE>...............

Re: Ambulance Pic

Got one out here in County Line Wrecking yard being sold whole. Use to be the Old Pearson’s Auto raceways ambulance. The zip code is 93555, name of the yard is county line and the guys name is Gordon in case anyone feels like looking it up on the internet and acquiring about it. The desert yields some really nice rust free pick ups. Anyway, great picks of the Ambulance trucks.

Re: Ambulance Pic

If they weren't so ugly & CREEPY looking, I'd say that an old ambulance would be a nice ride.

I called and spoke to Jackie, and then Gordon when I called back later. It is a '67, with a 327 in it. I asked a lot of questions about it and they were very friendly. It does not currently run, but did when they parked it years ago on their lot. They are not parting it, only selling it whole. They are asking $3500 for it, but would probably take less if you show up with cash.

Yes, they are nice folk. I have some history with ole Gordon. No one around here even wants to entertain an old truck like that. They want 500 dollar specials that run and don’t look so good. I bet if some one called and offered 2800 to 3 grand he would take it and most likely help you load it. I haven't been out there in a year or so in the yard, but always see it as I drive by. He has a 72 Super I believe also that he is selling whole. It is definitely a jewel in the rough for some one to eventually grab up, thanks Leddzepp.

even before seeing the movie One Hour Photo (w/ Robin Williams) i knew this was a no-no. not a good idea to be posting a private photo without the owner's OK. once a photo is up on this site, it is fair game for anyone who can right click!

It's ok. I told the guy I was gonna put it on here. I actually had him email me the digital copy. The guy in the pic is actually his dad.
