so i just got my truck runing again after about 6 months of down time (saving money for repairs) i put in a new fuel tank and new fuel system since the old one rusted out. so i was driving it today, and the exhaust fell off on the passenger side. and it sounded good!!(i had to move it to run fuel line)

so i was only about a mile from the house so i figure ill take it home and not worry about it. (i have glass packs so there isnt much backpressure diffrence) on the way home i drive past a guy walking down the street and he turns around to see what was going on. and he sees me and gives the the thumbs up. and i just busted up laughing. pretty much the rest of the way home

just thought id share that with ya'll

I once was out driving my 396 Camaro and I saw this middle aged chick out for a walk so right as I was driving by her, I goosed the throttle and the engine let out a roar that made this chick jump up in mid stride, turn around and almost piss her pants. She was so mad at me. Pretty funny to me.

Thats funny I like doing the same thing

, I especially like creeping up on people at a stop light then when the light turns green open up the Electric cut outs and laying my foot down hard it scares the S#!t out of them.

lmao 72chevyk10 I Had the same problem happen a few years ago with my 72 and the glass pack fell off and I do agree it sounded mean as hell and good, I drove home all the way like that also. almost made me want to leave it with out the exhaust lmao but yeah like we all know I would have gotten a ticket at some point.

Imagine a convenience store/gas station with the tall metal roof over the pumps. Now imagine a 66 Chevy pickup with a 283 and worn out glasspacks. Rev it up real quick and let off and all the unburned fuel would ignite in the exhaust and echo under the roof. Lots of wide-eyed people trying to figure out if the sky is falling.

20 + yrs ago when i was in high school i had a 70 1/2 ton 307 3 ot 2nd and 3rd on column 1st and rev rod thru floor. my exhaust fell of after y pipe before muffler. i picked it up threw it in the back. did not have cash to fix it till pay day. every morning when i went to go to work there was a cop at the end of the street waiting to follow me out of town. needles to say i burned no rubber till i got it fixed. drove the thing that way for a month till i put floor shifter in it. actually drove it a couple weeks before i put rod through floor. just was careful where i parked or i had to shut off and lift hood to shift from rev to 2nd

At one time my truck would back fire pretty good. I was driving down a busy neighbor hood street and there was a lady walking a dog. The truck went BOOM! And she jumped so high and turned and looked mad. Another time a guy was waling down the street and it went BOOM! and he ducked. HIT THE DECK! THERE SHOOTING AT US! LOL HAHAHAHA that was hilarious. Someone was riding with me and saw it. We laughed the rest of the way home.

we had a old ford dump truck that would do that. oh man there are alot of people that hit the ground because they thought they were getting shot at
