Sway Bar problems??

My 2000 silverado 2wd is lowered 5/7 with DJM lower/upper a arms with belltech springs. I removed my sway bar and sent the truck down for alingment, now when I re-installed the bar and bushings it seems to be raising the truck about 3/16'' of an inch??? I installed with the truck on the ground so all the weight was already on the springs and frontend. Do I need different mounts??? I have the bar installed straight to the frame with bushings and the ends are attached to the lower arms with the long bolt with bushings and spacer. HELP!!!!
