Question Which brake booster and why?

I need to replace the booster on my 72 Cheyenne Super LWB 1/2 ton. When I look it up there are two options, Delco and Bendix. Why would I choose one over the other?

It shouldn't matter for the booster but I will be doing a 4 wheel disc conversion with Corvette master & prop valve with CaptainFabs brackets & F-body calipers.

Re: Which brake booster and why?

Delco and Bendix boosters have different bolt pattern spacing on the back. Replace with the same one you have.

Black vs Cadmium, all about what you want in the engine compartment. They are equal other than color.

Re: Which brake booster and why?

LOL. I did not expect the simple answer I got from leddzepp. Bendix is what was on it. Bendix is what I put back. Thanks.

Re: Which brake booster and why?

Here is where I got my info: http://outintheshop.com/faq/Brakes/brakeinfo.html

It looks like the difference is in whether it is a 3/4 or 1/2 ton booster...I recalled that it was the brand of the booster.
