Does anyone know if an old clifford manifold or intake can be water heated? and should they be water heated? (will be going on an inline 6 250)

Re: intake question??

The clifford intakes I have seen are water heated. The one on my truck is.

Re: intake question??

Where you're at you won't have to heat the intake. Up here in the PNW, I didn't need to do it, but I did and it probably ran better as a result.

On my older Clifford intake, I simply had an aluminum 'box' TIG welded underneath the area where the carb sits and plumbed hot water to that.
