Re: 1977 Bonanza

Guys:

This is BY FAR...the best site I have ever come across. Been reading almost every post since I became a member...I never knew that there were so many people that loved vintage trucks...I am so used to seeing souped up trucks with booming sound systems (which isn't me--I like country and rock!).

Anyhow...

Have been taking Turbo's advice and scouring the boards...and haven't come up with any specifics regarding the following questions:

1977 "Seafoam Green" Bonanza Truck (350 Engine)
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=390704

1) Paint color: Any idea on how I can have someone match color scheme from the truck? Have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find where Chevy even has this color listed for the year!

2) Interior (seat covers, door panels, dash, etc): Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how to get the repro seat covers in same color (they are the same shade as the exterior dark green color).

Also, how would I paint the trim and dash? Get another color (white) and spray? Any help?

Have been working about 88 hours a week for the last month or so to save $$ so that I can really start restoring...it's something that I wanted to do for a LONG time, but never really had the time or space. Maine seems to be good for that...wide open spaces!

Just bought a 600 CFM Edelbrock Carb (Elec Choke) and Air Cleaner...now off to get the adapter plate and all "loose parts"...as the PO seemingly lost all of them. Any ideas on this issue? Are they standard

Thanks guys...don't want to be one of those guys who only asks questions...and never helps out!
Thanks for helping out!

Paul

There should be a paint code listed on the SPID in the glovebox. If that's not intact or ledgible, have you tried here-http://www.autocolorlibrary.com

2) Interior (seat covers, door panels, dash, etc): Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how to get the repro seat covers in same color (they are the same shade as the exterior dark green color). If you really want the original material go to http://www.smsautofabrics.com. If they don't have it no one will have it.

Also, how would I paint the trim and dash? Get another color (white) and spray? Any help? Take a look here- http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/interior/vinyl_dye.htm

Re: 1977 Bonanza

I think yours is the 43 light grn poly or 23 medium blue. Compare the colors to your glovebox.
