work truck in NC
hey my name is Cam form North Carolina and ive found this 71 or 72 not sure truck. im not planning a full restore but id like to get the mechanics in running order and get it aesthetically looking a little better than it is im trying to make a list and as far i have that when i go pick it up i need to check if not change the breaks and break lines i need to find some tires for this beast and go over the engines fluids and sounds. one big thing is ive never had a full size truck ive done a lot to my toyota pickup but not to one of these bad boys. I am a welder by trade and thats what im doing 4 days out of the week so patch panels and what not are not an issue. do you guys have any ideas about what i can do that will make this a sweeter ride with out makin this truck out of comission for my work truck. oh yea i bought it for 100$and its tailgate is the worst rust ive seen on it.Attachment 559083

Re: work truck in NC
Welcome from NW Washington. The main dif between 71 and 72 is the interior mirror is glued to the front windshield on the 72. Good luck with the project.
PS.. your attachment links do not work.
