1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
I took this complete cruise control assembly off my 1972 highlander. No wires were cut at all, and this includes all the hard to find parts and pieces. it has the correct "cruise master" dash mounted switch, dual throttle cable assembly, dual speedometer cable assembly, mounting brackets, brake light cut off switch, servo mechanism, etc. The truck was not running, so I cannot say it works or not. So please assume it may need some reconditioning or new parts. But it is complete, and should be an easy install, and again, I was very careful removing it from the truck, and did not cut or damage any of the original wiring, vacuum hoses, cables or anything.
Best offer. Please call if you have any questions or would like any other information. Thanks, Jim 916-257-3450 |

Re: 1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
I'm in Gardnerville NV just south of Carson City/ Reno. Shipping weight is light. Probably less than a pound. Are you thinking you might be able to pick it up?

Re: 1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
Cool, another 72' with this style cruise. Lot of debate if this would be considered a period correct cruise. Looks like another one to confuse us all. I did find a setup like this is in a 72' as well and is identical to all the brackets you have here. Trevor

Re: 1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
ahh, with what I've been dumping into the truck, I stay as far away from the casinos as I can! Although when I first started this I did hit enough one night to pay for a new carb and an air cleaner!
I'll just have you ship it. Total w/shipping? Paypal? Thanks

Jim,
Why did you not leave it installed? Just curious.

Re: 1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
That's funny! I understand completely though... It will go easily into one of those flat rate shipping boxes (large 12 X 12 X 5" no problem. I think they're closed on Sundays, but I can send it first thing Monday AM, if that's okay with you? Paypal's fine too, and please call or PM for my account info. let me know if the Monday shipping is good, and $15 will do it for the flat rate box. So $215 total?

Re: 1972 dealer installed factory cruise control
I actually purchased a '68 Lincoln w/ suicide doors in Gardnerville some years back. My brother used to live there as well.
