pass side sport mirror ?s
i just bought a pair of mirrors from all our fav auction site and i mounted the drivers one fine, look good and i can see good through it. now the pass is a totally different story. i have it in the right place and when it is turned all the way in i still cant see my bedside on the truck. i almost have to put my head in the center of the cab to see the bedside. is this common with these mirrors? am i going to have to install it basikly just for looks?

Re: pass side sport mirror ?s
I did the same, and in order to see out of it I have to tilt it all the way in to see. It took me a while to get used to it (my old ones were "big as barn doors") but the look is much better. Cnut

I had trouble with the one on the Red/White 4x4. Same problem. If I do another set I am going to try and move the pass. side forward a little bit. That should help. LockDoc

Re: pass side sport mirror ?s
Have you tried holding the base and spinning the mirror its self around and then tilting the mirror in and seeing if there is any difference, If I am correct the mirror should be spun around a certain direction to tilt farther.

Re: pass side sport mirror ?s
I have the same issues with mine. What I did was mount the pass side mirror just a little higher and little more forward than it says on the instructions. I did a search on this topic and that's were I found that info to do it on mine. Hope this helps.

[QUOTE=mikey531;3859357]I just did a search for sport mirror mounting,
Those are what I used to mount the ones on the Red/White 4x4 and it didn't work on the pass side. LockDoc
