Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
Please give me your input on what wheel to put in my truck.
I'm looking for a classic, country/redneck type of look but also very upscale. This truck is starting to get really high-end, so I don't want to get tacky. This needs to be 14 inches, and it will be on a chrome column from ididit. I'll be getting it from Billet Specialties because I get a deal on those. Take a look at their offerings, and see which one you'd pick. The color of the wrap will be matching leather that matches my seat, which will likely be a brown, King Ranch type of color and leather. here's the site: http://www.billetspecialties.com/pro...cid=12&scid=13 |

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
I like the looks of the Outlaw or GT wheel with the standard bowtie horn button. You could do the bowtie outline and the groove on the button in the same color as the truck.

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
My only suggestion is to run a 15" wheel, it won't obscure the view of the gauges. Beyond that, it's personal choice.

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
i like the outlaw for that knda redneck look, but i do love the banjo too. personally the banjo is just way on for a truck though to me unless its pre-66. so i like the outlaw on a square-body not trying to go over the top and keep it knda retro lookin

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
I like the looks of the Chicayne, Just think it would complement the rounded lines of the chrome column......

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
You guys see that there's several pages right?
Everyone chose one from page 1, so i wanted to make sure. As for the 14" choice, it's all about room behind the wheel. |

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
What "wheels" are you going to run? I noted you plan to change tires/wheels in your build thread. I prefer to match my steering wheel to my wheels.

Re: Help me Choose a Steering Wheel
DOAH..... I looked at the bottom for more pages but didn't catch them up top.
Chicayne/Alien or Revolver, I just like the sweeping/rounded lines as mentioned above....

Design your own. I held one of these at the show in Indy this week and they are nice. Jay
