tailgate trim issues

I have shaved tailgate handle, but id like to put the chrome tailgate/tail light trim on it but all the pieces i have found cut out at the handle. any suggestions?

Mar-K makes a on piece trim now for the gates. Nice work by the way

Possibly get a lower piece for the upper?
