I need your help on a heater knob!

ok its got the three sliding knobs for the heater ya got
fan wich is there
deff wich is there
but the heater knob is GONE
Is this a comin thing do i just replace the whole thing or is there a fix out there or what...?

I'm guessing you mean the heater lever is broken. You can buy rebuild kits or just the parts you need for the heater controls.

Yeah, the levers are made of mystery metal and snap easily...

I have a parts heater control that might have an unbroken heat lever but I just moved all parts to storage and have no idea where it is.

the replacement knobs and rebuild kits are available from most vendors.It's an easy project and probably takes a couple hours after the unit is out of the dash.Don't forget to clean and lube the cables for it while you have it apart so it works smoothly when you put it back together.

I reached under there and got the heat on but im having a problem getting the fan to come on past the first speed.....???.....
Any ideas for that....?

It dont come on untill i slide it on full blast and its really on its low speed....

If you are gonna rebuild I would suggest that you go with the unbreakable levers through some of the dealers on the board.
