67-68 GRill fitment questions... BOWTIE GURUS!!!!

I have a 67 grill Ill be installing onto my 72 truck. I got to taking it apart and cleaning it today and came across a few concerns.

i removed the parking lights and noticed one light fit great, one side the holes were farther apart by a bit. is this normal? You can see no damage to the grill or mounting holes.

should not be much of a problem, you can always grind the hole bigger for easier fitting of the light housing. Once bolted in place, the holes are hidden.

If you look at your turn signal housings you will find thats how they are too.. its the factorys way of keep you from putting the left one in the right side and vise versa..
