67-68 Grill insert chrome or sale and buy chrome

i have some inserts that came off a factory grill I have. both appear to be in near perfect shape.

What does everyone think of these? Do they look good enough to send off and have chromed? should I sell these and buy repop chrome ones? they do not appear to be in the best finish as the ends seem rough but I believe this is just how the factory finished some stuff back then

Hard to tell from pictures. If you choose to have them chromed, have the chrome shop look at them and tell you if they need work or not. One thing to keep in mind, chroming them adds thickness and with some aftermaket clips, you will have trouble getting the speed nuts onto the threaded part of the clip. I had the same issue with my 67.
