Panhard bar stud OUT of the axle housing

How do you get the old stud out of the axle housing????

I have heard a pipe wrench and cheater bar works too.

Ken's method is way more effective than mine. Causes a lot less damage too

Seriously, soak the stud down with some penetrating oil (I like Kroil) and let sit over night, then get a hold of that bugger with the pipe wrench.

I borrow Shanes wrench and removed mine like it was a ball joint...use the wrench on the top of the housing ...... the shaft is tapered and it popped loose

i took the nut off of the back of mine barely tapped it with a hammer and it fell out.... i was shocked !!

ITS OUT! It didnt come out as easy as 67chebys did but about 5 seconds with an air hammer did the trick. Thanks for all the help

took mine out today after installing new adjustable bar- took the nut off and hit it with the hammer once and it fell out- thought it would have been a lot harder to get out! lol
