Remove the striker from the cab. Adjust the doors as needed

Re: proper way to replace doors

Pics would help, but it sounds as though your door needs to be lifted at the hinges.

Ron i think you are on too something it does need to lift some, maybe reem out the holes on hinge a bit allowing more movement for adjustment?

Re: proper way to replace doors

There are 2 companies that reproduce the door hinges for our trucks. One company makes them thicker than the other. You evidently have the thicker hinge. You can grind the head of the bolts to allow clearence or just repin the originals. We use to get the reproductions that we the thinner ones, but for some reasone our suppliers now have the thicker ones. I am on the search for the correct ones once again. WES

Re: proper way to replace doors

Far as I understand, you are using the original hinges (with the lower one being repinned), you have removed them and have replaced them.
There should be some adjustment (up/down) and it is quite common to reinstall the hinges and/or door lower than they were before.
Try loosening off the bolts and sliding the door up to give you rocker clearance, keep one of the hinges tight at the door and jamb while you are adjusting the door, to keep it from dropping again.
