Truck Sits Crooked
I am having an issue with my 87 c10 2WD LWB the driver side sits lower then the passenger side. I replaced the front springs. Tires are the same and have the same pressure. If you look at the truck head on you can notice the dip I measured both sides and its about an inch difference. I tried to look and see if anything was bent. Has anyone come across this at all any info would help thanks. Jay

Re: Truck Sits Crooked
I wish I could help you with this but I've messed with it a few times, never sucessfully. My '87 had almost 2" of driver lean, I swapped coil and leaf springs side to side, checked all wear parts, measured frame, etc.. and it just never added up. The spring swap did take about .5" out though. I honestly think they get like that with the extra 400 or so pounds from the driver and gasoline on that side over the years.

Re: Truck Sits Crooked
So does anyone really have a concrete answer to this? I'm actually thinking of building an entire frame just to avoid changing everything to find a fix for "that chevy lean".... Help!!!!

Re: Truck Sits Crooked
This might be obvious, but make sure the spring is seated all the way in the top spring pocket if you haven't already.
