Re: Rattle can paint options?

You might think about using a brush. Rattle cans lay down very little paint.

Re: Rattle can paint options?

I dont know how rattle cans outside of cali compare to what we have () but I use high solids paint from Barnes distribution and it is awesome one coat coverage and durable http://www.barnesdistribution.com/pd...icals_1_10.pdf

Re: Rattle can paint options?

rustoleum industrial thinned with acetone ... about a 50-50 mixture. both are available at your nearest lowes or home depot.

Re: Rattle can paint options?

I am gonna second Shane and say Rustoleum Industrial. If you can't spray it in a gun. Lowes also has it in a rattlecan, I personally use both. Rattle cans for one or two pieces, paint gun for large products.

Re: Rattle can paint options?

the weld corners aren't really sharp..but I was thinking of putting a weather strip around the top just to be extra safe

Re: Rattle can paint options?

oh hey I was comparing our arms...you need to drill a hole on the inside of your cup in the corner so any water will drain and if you wanted to remove the rest of the stop just drill the welds it will pop right off

your going to love the free drop

Re: Rattle can paint options?

2 3/4"..... still a good deal....if your running stock tires (29" tall) it will put your tires VERY close to your inner fender support and your going to have to do something about your wheel wells..if you come up with something simple let me know..also a 2 1/2" c notch will give you a nice stance when your dumped with a 2" drop spindle you will lay X member..not sure how much your looking to drop it but the spindles will also allow you to run the bags and control arms more in the middle at ride height....I find I bttom out the LCA when driving around real low

on a side note check your tie rods at full dump they maybe really close or rubbing the frame..that being said you can run from stop to stop with the wheel at full dump for trolling parking lots....also if you need a shock check out the monroe 5752 ( I think) there from a 50 chsyler imperial they work well with this set up
