Cool Do they make roof racks for 73-87 single cab trucks????
i was thinking if anybody has ever seen or made or bought a roof rack for thier single cab. i was thinking a roof rack might look good and be very useful on my truck.

anybody have pictures of roof racks?

Google TracRac. These usually come in a pair of 2 and are made to slide but my bodyshop installed one when i got my truck painted. Its aluminum and really heavy duty.

you could probably get one from a 'burb and modify it. I don't believe there were ever any made for a single cab.

hey 2badgn i like that but what i want is a basket type rack on the roof.

heres a picture of the type of rack i want on a jeep cherokee.

obviously that one is too big, but it dosent look like it would be too hard to fabricate one for my truck. should i just shorten some suburban roof rack rails to fit on it?

they wouldnt exactly be "attractive" TO me anyways... whats the purpose anyway. you have a 8 foot bed for stuff and stuff on the cab would KILL fuel economy even worse than these trucks already are..

$75,and that's with a clear coat (powder clear),and phoscoat to eliminate rust before spraying.
