It lives!!!

After an almost 1 year hiatus, I finally got my dually running! I have been off the board awhile and I have missed talking with you guys, so I decided I might was well have a good update on my return. The diesel runs great (Big Thanks to JKade) and sounds awesome. I built a custom 4" discharge housing since the stock 6.5TD piece is so restrictive. It really sounds mean! The video doesn't do the turbo justice, it really whistles! I couldn't run it long because I don't have the cooling system in place yet, but here's a little sampling of it. I can't wait to drive it! I added a pic of the truck for all the guys that must have signed up when I was gone!

Thanks! Yes, and I just put new shoes on her. Mickey Thompson just released these a few months ago, so I had to have a set!

Yes, Detroit designed these for GM, so I thought it would a cool color since that would have been the color of a Detroit Diesel in 1967. I also made this decal to put on the valve cover. It nothing else, it will help me remember all my filter numbers since I've parts from several year model trucks on it.

Oh yeah, I've heard that one many times as well. She's pretty much got me on the "sell-one-to-get-one" program. I guess she figures that at least she can control the static number to what is now if I do that!

Thanks! I really, REALLY wanted to put a 6V-53T in it, but the cost and ease of installing 6.2L made up my mind for me. I can get all the normal parts for it from any parts store as well. There is nothing that sounds better than a 2 stroke Detroit, especially the V6's, IMO.

That is awesome. I had to turn my speakers down, made me jump a little when the video started I was hoping for an update on your truck, it's a cool rig! I must agree, the 6V detroits are absolutely wicked sounding, but yours sounds pretty damn good!
