Thank you to everyone and the board - old Blue eyeS

I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for assisting, for keeping their projects going, posting pictures, helping, contributing... I couldn't have built this without everyone contributing to this site and more importantly, the people on it.

with that...

I really like the colors. Very nice. One question. Where did you get that fuel filler door?

Turned out really nice DaddyMack!!! My question is why did the battery move to the drivers side?

I am trying to remember.. it's actually an access door for something else, but I used it for the fuel. I did find one here though for roughly same price that's neater, and if I saw it first ... http://www.jerrybickel.com/fuel-syst...s-doors-1.html

Thank you both!! It's my daily driver...

Battery was moved because it made it easier for the install and maint. of A/C IMO as well as running the wire from the fuse block.

Two questions...

I see you have Vintage Air. Does it really do the job ? It hits 110 here in the summer and I need the real deal.

Where did you order your air conditioning package from ? I need to order from some where out of state since V.A. is here in Texas I'd pay tax if I ordered straight from them.

I live in Vegas, it better work.. 110 is a cool day, especially if I tow my boat to the lake on Sundays where it's closer to 120.... haven't hit summer yet, but the heat works so far..lol..

I think I got it locally at either SoCal or Tuckers... but I had my brother buy it (he runs a custom shop, so no tax) I would say just buy it from Brothers, or Tuckers or ??

Thanks ! It is my daily driver, and it isn't really close to show quality, BUT I am at the Show and Shine that is every Sunday from 8 - 10 am across from the Santa Fe in the old Century theaters parking lot. Usually, every other Sunday. I was just there, so probably be there on April 4th depending.. Also, there is a show that is coming up in April I think at the Drive In? I will be there for sure if I can get the info.

Just Flat Paint. It's a special product, can't remember the name. No clear.

I don't know the brand sorry. I had longer ones that were similar with the ceramic coating, but traded for the shorty type.

Congratulations on a beautiful one of a kind truck . You should be proud of finishing it (if they are ever done). Now enjoy the ride. Bubba

Thanks! And you are right about never being finished... I'll be tweaking it.. already have plans here and there... i.e. steering wheel, valve covers/airfilter, etc etc etc..lol

And I put about 100 miles on it yesterday.. lol I drive it everyday.. I am getting about 13.5 - 14 miles to the gallon... 20 gallon tank..go through about 2 tanks a week.. between kids, work and fun...

people do notice it though.. lots of thumbs up.. and people I know seem to always see me... not sure if that's good or bad..lol.. can't hide anymore...
