Seat Belt Install...What am I missing?

I've got the bolt for the top anchor, the bolt for the short side in the middle of the bench, and the bolt for the retractor by the door. Where does the fixed point of the retractor side go?

I just got this truck and the wife won't go for a ride iuntil they're installed. I was hoping my first post would be the pics and an intro, but that will have to wiat!!!!

I'm thinking it just gets attached to the same bolt as the retractor but the package contains a warning re: using the same bolt on one "lap belt".

On my 3 point belts, the retractor is bolted to the floor by the door. I used the factory bolt, but had to open the mount up a little with a Dremel. Your belts may be different though. Welcome to the Board BTW.

Re: Seat Belt Install...What am I missing?

Thanks. I've got that down there, but there's one more point that needs to be attached. Do two points get attached by the door? The retractor assembly and the other anchor bracket?

Retractor is attached at the floor and runs up through the top shoulder anchor, then back down to....

A pic of what you're working with would help. Mine are 3 point belts. Retractor at the floor by the door, pivot anchor at the ceiling, latch through the seat at the floor. 3 bolts for mine. The shoulder part should be a loop, maybe that extra anchor you have bolts down with the retractor.

any pics? retractor should be by door, then up to the shoulder mount, the buckle (male end) should cross the shoulder and plug into the female end in the middle of the truck, you will have two belts on each of the inside ( middle) bolts for the middle seat belt.

Re: Seat Belt Install...What am I missing?

I just went out and looked at mine. I have both parts of the shoulder part of the belt anchored with the factory bolt at the floor, and the pivot anchor at the ceiling.

The metal piece closest to the retractor is what I'm confused about. I'm assuming they get bolted together, but I want to make sure before I do it.

THANKS!

Looks like the same belts I have. That metal piece gets bolted under the retractor. I used the factory bolts and had to open the mounting point on the retractor a hair.

Alright, I'll bolt it under the bracket. I'll know if its not right when my face hits the wheel....

Thanks again.

That's how mine are bolted up, you'll be alright.

Re: Seat Belt Install...What am I missing?

All set. The passenger side had room for the L bracket mount, but the driver side didn't. I had to bolt the retractor laying flat directly to the cab. I'll post pictures when I get them uploaded.
