Picture Request

Can someone please post a picture of the correct routing of the E-Brake cable from the firewall down to the frame on a '69-'72.

I'm putting mine back together and it is making slight contact with the steering shaft the way I currently have it.

Thanks,

Re: Picture Request

Here's a couple photobucket pics from my '72. E-Brake comes out the firewall, under the steering column and attaches to the outside of the frame. Hope this helps.

Re: Picture Request

Thanks for the picture.

I think I see my problem, there appears to be a clip hanging on that cable just below the steering shaft.

Does it bolt to the inner fender somewhere below the steering shaft to hold it down?

Re: Picture Request

As you can see on the lower right of this picture there is a screw clip that holds it to the inner fender well holding it away from the steering column.
